please explain procedures to upgrade firmware, I downloaded the firmware update and its in my downloads folder , I booted my megadrum with the left button pressed in and I let go of button now I get a FwSUpdaterSTM32d StartUpdateonPC on the megadrum display whats next

In MDMFX when you do the firmware upgrade (you go to Main->Firmware Upgrade) it displays step-by-step instructions for the upgrade procedure. Do you want me to post it here as well?

I did that and when I type the firmware version nothing happened do you use team viewer by any chance

Here it is (if MDMFX is connected to MegaDrum):

"Upgrade instruction for:"
" ARM based MegaDrum"

"1. Make sure you have a backup copy of your MegaDrum config."
"2. Select the MegaDrum firmware file."
"3. Click button Start."
"4. Wait for the upgrade to finish."
"5. Click button Close.";

And if you recover MegaDrum firmware after a failed firmware upgrade (if MegaDrum doesn't start normally):

"Upgrade instruction for:"
" Atmega based MegaDrum"
" ARM based MegaDrum in 'recovery' mode"

"1. Make sure you have a backup copy of your MegaDrum config."
"2. Select the MegaDrum firmware file."
"3. Disconnect (power off) MegaDrum."
"4. While holding MegaDrum's button LEFT connect (power on) MegaDrum."
"5. Skip this step on an ARM based MegaDrum."
" By pressing MegaDrum's button UP select a correct MegaDrum crystal frequency."
