I have the same problem as above poster. Tried updating the firmware after a long time. The last time all went without a problem. I have a new protected bootloader. Today I tried updating thru megadrum manager and nothing happened. Update in progress 0% for 2 hours. Then I tried updating thru cmd(mdfwupdate). Same thing. Progress 0%. Then I tried with MDUpdate app and the same thing happened. 0% progress and program hangs (not responding). I tried with 3 different usb cables, different usb ports, different computers. Windows7, windows 8.1, windows 10. Same thing.
One more thing: when I press update on PC, megadrum module restarts instead of updating. Any ideas?

Are you sure the firmware is in the correct folder?

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

Yes.
Edit: Not just the update, nothing can be sent to megadrum. Manager reads the settings but can't send them back (hangs).

1. What is your current firmware version?
2. Describe in step-by-step what you do and what happens just like step-by-step instructions in the first post of the topic.

1. My current firmware version is 20141022 (It's been a while)
2. - I hold the left button and power up megadrum
- I press the button up to choose 16Mhz
- I press the down button (message to start the update on pc appears)
- I start MDUpdate
- MIDI In and MIDI out are set to Megadrum MIDI USB
- I browse for the firmware bin which is in the same folder as MDUpdate
- I press "Run Megadrum Update" button

At this point Megadrum restarts
- A new window pops up: Updating megadrum, please wait...
Elapsed time 00:00
Estimated time 00:00
Remaining time 00:00

On both windows (MDUpdate and Update in progress) It says not responding

For other two methods of updating I followed instructions to the letter.

You must use mdfwupdate.exe (not MDUpdate) as per instructions in the first post.

As described in my opening post, the same thing happens. It stays at 0% forever. As soon as I press enter megadrum restarts instead of updating. All the pc drivers are up to date ( checked with Driver Easy Pro app).
