HH Cymbal Input getting mixed up with Kick

Whenever I hit the HH Cymbal, it's sending the MIDI Note for the kick.

I have checked:

The editor, and confirmed that these inputs have different notes assigned.

Software, the respective notes of the inputs have different samples assigned to them.

Kick is plugged into input 2, and hihat cymbal into 3 & 4.

What's going on here? It was fine before.

SOLVED: I had set the notes correctly on the cymbal page, but it's actually the hihat section under the notes tab, that were all set to note zero, which is the kick in this instance. Now I've assigned the notes it's working correctly. But still, isn't this something I can't configure in the software instead?

The traditional approach is Kick on one and hi hat on 2 and 3.

Do you get both HiHat and Kick notes or just Kick notes?

Dmitri, so I've assigned note 0 to kick, and 2 & 3 to the hihat cymbal zones. I'm only getting note 0 coming through for all 3 of those inputs.
