You can control the megadrum directly with the PC with the MCT software (Megadrum Config Tool).

So this means that the LCD and the buttons are not necessary when connected to PC?

You must connect at least 2 buttons to be able to update the firmware (4 buttons is better).
In this case, LCD is not necessary when connected to PC, but much nicer with !

I am new to this form and DIY stuff. Here is what i am looking for.
I use EZ drummer through FL studio.
I wana build an e-Kit that work as midi controller only, so i just need basic piezo to midi trigger module with USB output going in to the PC.
Now with all that in mind what do i need?

Yes but i was reading in FAQ that if only trigger to midi function required then i would not need some parts.

If you never use the MIDI DIN connection : do not mount the brown part.
If you never use the MIDI USB connection : do not mount the green part.
If you never use the external power supply : do not mount the red part.
If you never use the LCD display : do not mount the pink part.

Megadrum is directly powered by the USB port.
You can use an external PSU when you don't use USB.

Important note : "Ext Power Jumper" and "USB Power Switch" can not be closed at the same time !
