Hey Synthex

First of all awesome job in producing this masterpiece .... I salute you 8-).

I've seen that with your pcb, it is possible to connect a megadrum to an electrical outlet. But I have two questions.

First:
What kind of AC/DC adaptor would i have to use to power it?

Second:
After i have built the PCB and finished soldering all the components, then, in what kind of input plug would, i connect the red part of the pcb, so that it can receive external power supply? And how would i connect the wires to it?

5 am ... better go to bed or there will be no drummin for mister janado tomorrow :)

You can use a AC/DC adaptor between 6 volts and 12 volts, 200mA or more.

Just connect the positive wire to the + pin, and the negative wire to the other pin.

The external power AC/DC adaptor would be used only if you don't use the USB power.

Thanks for the answers :)

So, i can have them both, but can only use one of them at a time, to power up my megarum?

Yes, you can.

Generally, when using the USB port, it uses no external adapter.

I have a PCB v2.8 completely assembled and tested to sell.
I built this PCB to test the new version.

Is it that someone would be interested by this PCB ?

v2.8 Kit is now sold with the new version of the bootloader.
This version of the bootloader has a kind of protection from accidental MegaDrum firmware erasure.
