Help pls Squares on my lcd

I seem to remember having a similar problem using Synthex kit 2.7, it was caused by the lcd contrast pot not being correctly 'tuned'. Try giving it a few turns one way or the other.

Hello Everyone Thnx for your answers,
I been looking and looking again at the pcb and just decided to change lcd connector. And It worked. I guess some of the connector pins doens touched exactly with the cable or or kind of stuff. But I got sone new problems.
Now when I connect usb to my mac lcd says <MegaDrum.info> (c) D.Skachkov. But immediatly 2 lines of ------------------ scores. But I got sone new problems.
Any Ideas?????
