elrules, I just posted a new firmware which has an update to SysEx configuration. I mistakenly was omitting Latency setting from the SysEx misc config before. I've updated menu_layout.pdf now.
MCT has just been updated to 1.5. It fixes some bugs and adds an important new feature: THE AUTOMATIC FIRMWARE UPDATE DETECTION!!!
Just run MCT while you are connected to Internet (so it can update itself). If everything works as expected (for me it worked) it will ask megadrum for its firmware version (if you have version 20081216 it will answer to this request). Then, as its version is obsolete, MCT will download the firmware (according to your hardware configuration in MCT) and ask you to update. Works like a charm!! Now, with a few clicks I have my megadrum with firmware up to date!
Things done: - Disable inputs by moving the Note slider to the minimum. - Add support for 40/48 inputs - Add support for the 3 types of bootloaders (ready) --- Add a new configuration option to choose between bootloaders --- Change update process to select the correct bootloader procedure
I've tried firmware update with the latest (v2 + Secure) bootloader and it erases old firmware (that is it does send f0 7f 41 f7) but then it shows an error box with 'error trying to send the sysex file' without actually sending the firmware file.
