Hey Synthex, Very Nice work, when can I purchase this? I'm gonna just build my MD all over again, I'm still having way too many intermittent problems, and I know that just rebuilding it from scratch I won't make the same mistakes again. I would also Love to purchase the PCB for the inputs as well. Any idea when you'll have these available?

The v3.1 kit will be available in one month.

Jack's PCBs would (not sure) be available at the same time.
But before producing Jack's PCBs, I hesitate between this two pinouts :

The actual jacks placing :
Board 1 : Aux7---Aux5---Aux3---Aux1---Crash---HiHat---Tom3---Tom1---Snare
Board 2 : USB----Aux6---Aux4---Aux2---Ride----Pedal---Tom4---Tom2---Kick

An other jacks placing :
Board 1 : USB----Aux7---Aux6---Aux5---Aux4----Aux3----Aux2---Aux1----Tom4
Board 2 : Tom3---Tom2---Tom1---Ride---Crash---Snare---Kick---HiHat---Pedal

With the second pinouts, PCBs can be put in line.

Thanks ;)

Others ?

Do you want Jack's PCBs for others 24 inputs ?

Board 1 : Tom3---Tom2---Tom1---Ride---Crash---Snare---Kick---HiHat---Pedal
Board 2 : USB----Aux7---Aux6---Aux5---Aux4----Aux3----Aux2---Aux1----Tom4
Board 3 : Aux13---Aux12---Aux11---Aux10----Aux9----Aux8
Board 4 : Aux19---Aux18---Aux17---Aux16----Aux15----Aux14

I should be getting my 1space rack enclosure today, so the only request I would have is that I would be able to use these pcb's for the jacks in a 1 space rack enclosure.

Not that it affects me, because I have already made mine, but I would move the USB to the end of the first board. That way, you don't have to have it in the middle if people build a 56 inputs MD.

Board 1 : Tom2---Tom1---Ride---Crash---Snare---Kick---HiHat---Pedal--USB
Board 2 : Aux7---Aux6---Aux5---Aux4----Aux3----Aux2---Aux1---Tom4--Tom3
Board 3 : Aux13---Aux12---Aux11---Aux10----Aux9----Aux8
Board 4 : Aux19---Aux18---Aux17---Aux16----Aux15----Aux14

Also, have you given any consideration to stacked jacks boards? People with 1U rack cases should be able to fit these in them.

Board Inputs32Up : Aux6---Aux4---Aux2---Tom4---Tom2---Snare---Crash---HiHat---Kick
Board Inputs32Down : Aux7---Aux5---Aux3---Aux1---Tom3---Tom1----Ride----Pedal---USB

Board Inputs24Up : Aux18---Aux16---Aux14---Aux12---Aux10---Aux8
Board Inputs24Down : Aux19---Aux17---Aux15---Aux13---Aux11---Aux9

With the IDC connector only on the down board.

I'm not sure what this is exactly. Is this the layout for the stacked jacks? If it is, how are you putting the USB and Kick on top of each other?

If it is the layout for single jacks, how do you have the IDC connector only on the bottom?

Thanks again for putting up with my pestering. You've done a lot of great work here.

Stacked jacks are very good but a little expensive.

I think about that :
