Hello,
Your PCBs drawing are very good.......I think I will try your all in one version!
I am an electronician and I draw PCBs.I think you should make pads with smaller holes to have more copper to solder .......this will make it more reliable!!
Me I am a collector of old Edrum modules (SIMMONS,DDRUM,DYNACORD,TAMA,PEARL....) and I am designing my own edrum channel based on 8 bits samples on eproms...just with hardware,no microprocessor....
If you are interested I can send you a PDF of my project!
See you soon

Thank you.
I changed the size of holes that were in fact a little too big.

You can post your "vintage" project into a new off-topic, it's always interesting. :)

yeah sure I will make your board looks very cool :D 8-)

my board didnt work out 100% due to avr-cdc not working 100% or even 50% ;)

got 85% the parts needed for your version

missing the 74s1053, need to get a blank board, and the Pic for usb

:?: is there a alterative to the 74s1053 does it have another name also what is the smt/smd Surface mount equivalent ??

I don't know an alternative name to the 74s1053, the surface mount ref is SN74S1053DW.

This is really cool!

Do you think that it would be possible to make your PCB going the DIY way?? (Iron, laser printer, water, chemical products and so on) Do you think that the size of the routes is too small to achieve them using a DIY method or are they fine?
