Do you think that it would be possible to make your PCB going the DIY way?? (Iron, laser printer, water, chemical products and so on) Do you think that the size of the routes is too small to achieve them using a DIY method or are they fine?

I think that it would be possible to make this PCB by DIY way.
Routes are small, but with a vigilant attention, it should not pose a problem. ;)

I am going to print some today using the toner method. for the board to be layed out correctly, I would have to mirror this layout so that when I iron it onto the copper it will be facing the correct way, right?

No, you would not have to mirror the copper layout.

Yep, I saw it, but I have all the parts for the other version already. I would have to see if I can get the 74HC4851's from Radio Shack, which I will take a look today if I have a chance.

Did you made your layout with DipTrace ?

I cant find the SN74S1053 in the DipTrace library, did you make it yourself in the component editor ?

Yes, i made my layout with DipTrace.
I have add the dip box, without edit the component.
Why do you ask this question ?

Because I couldnt find it, I was wondering if it was there but under a different name. Anyway, I made a SN741051 in the component editor.

I'm making an all in one 22 input MegaDrum pcb with 2 MC74SHC4851 (instead of the 4051) and also one SN74S1051 (the 12 bits brother of the 1053) to replace the BAT85 diodes.
