There are guidelines in the help section that should be read and understood prior to writing new or editing existing articles. It contains basic markup information and general guidelines.
Developing Content
I think that we can develop content fairly organically by creating, finding, or clarifying wiki pages that answer broadly applicable questions. Many important topics have been already discussed on the forums, importing those topics should largely be a matter of editing, curation, and formatting.
