Oups ;)
You have enabled the firmware update ...

"Now you can upload this file using MIDI-OX. But before doing this you MUST set 'Low Level Output Buffers' to at least 40000 (in MIDI-OX menu go Options->Configure Buffers and set Output, NOT Input, Buffers to 40000).

Reset MegaDrum while holding the key LEFT. It'll ask you to press the key DOWN. If you changed you mind you can reset MegaDrum again without holding any keys and it will boot an old firmware. If you press the key DOWN, it'll erase the old firmware and will wait for the Sysex with a new firmware. Now in MIDI-OX go to Actions->Send->SysEx File... and choose the firmware *.syx file you've prepared beforehand. The update will take around 5 seconds and after it's finished MegaDrum will reset itself and boot the new firmware."

I have good and bad news.

I reseted the mega and it was opened with squares on the top line of display. No firmware updater message appeared this time. So I took off the atmega from board1 and put the oher atmega and it is owrking perfect now. Midi problem is solved.

I think the first atmega was demaged or firmware problematic. Do i have a chance to fix it or i have to order an other one?

thanks for the help

Squares on the top line of display = The firmware was erased.
You just have to upload the firmware using MIDI-OX.

Hi again,

Tonight I'm trying to save the erased atmega. I have started as you said..but I could not compelte updating it...Here are the things I have done..

-set the output buffer size to 40000
-enabled midi ports in midi-0x
-pressed down on megadrum and lcd displayed "firmware updater sen sysex now" and midi led started to flash.
-and then in midi-ox Actions->Send->SysEx File choosed the file you sent.
-in midi-ox's output monitor window sysex codes appeared and the bottom line is" 00004B7D F0 buffer: 2 Bytes System Exclusive SYSEX: 0D 0A

I'm waiting for 5 minutes but nothing happened. Midi led is still flashing, Lcd still states "send sysex now". Megadrum did not restarted itself..

What should I do. What is wrong with this little atmega=)

Any help is welcome..thanks.

Ps: I'm connecting the board only with usb...

First, confirm these:

1. You power up your MegaDrum while holding key LEFT.
2. After MegaDrum firmware updater prompts you with "Press Key DOWN", you press key DOWN. MIDI LED lights up (NO flashing!)
3. After MegaDrum firmware updater prompts you with "Send SysEx now", you send from MIDI-OX a PROPERLY prepared firmware Sysex file.
4. Your crystal has a frequency matching the Bootloader frequency version.

Is Bootloader version 20MHz also?

How did you get this Atmega with a bootloader? Did you get it from Synthex?
