Thanks for that list Synthex! Anyone know where to find all the parts for cheap? I'm mostly having trouble finding sockets and connectors.

Futurlec has most parts and is pretty cheap.
Not sure where you live but All Electronics is dirt cheap here in the States.
They just don't have that many parts for this project.
Or you can try Jameco.

Yea, I'm in the States. I'm not having trouble with simple things like the resistors, capacitors, pot, and the simples stuff, but I'm having trouble with the connectors and sockets. I'm having trouble finding the HE-14 and HE-10 sockets/connectors, as well as 6N138N. The 6N138N IC I found on rapidonline.com, buy I'd prefer ordering from somewhere in the states. Any help?

Synthex, I'm still considering buying a kit from you, though I don't think I'll be able to for atleast a month. I'm on a pretty low budget. I'm also wondering if the savings might be worth the trouble of building the whole thing from scratch myself. Then again, I don't have a lot of time. I'll let you know when I'm sure.
