I will look at your raw pad signal when I have time - extremely busy building modules/kits and doing iPad development at the moment.

no, you dont neeed. your tips had helped me very well. now i even have positional sensing runing fine without recitifier.

if you want you could listen to the trigger io sound. listen to the very soft rolls. they are pefekt... maybe you could implement something for trigsuppression, so we could have such nice soft rolls too... ;)
if alesis do this with the crappy trigger io, then you can make something even better.

thanks...

I'm sure with proper configuration you your pad will trigger better on MegaDrum for all types hits.

wow... im so happy bout running my drum beter than ever. what a damn good feeling... but if the problem with the falstriggering is about my waves subsiding too slowly then there is even more precision i could get out of the toms...
dont understand what exactly the problem is. i have meshheads from roland, they are tightened really really tight... what could i make more, to get the waves subsiding faster? last days tried everything from changing foam, damping... changing wiring, changing piezos... always with the same result...

can you give me tips on how build or mount the piezo inside my toms, to get the waves subsiding faster? thank you very much.... really!!!!

I have not made mesh pads myself so cannot advise. In practice it doesn't matter much if a signal subsides quickly or slowly, more important that a signal subsides monotonically, i.e. each subsequent half wave is smaller than a previous one.

i have to write it:

now, after you told me how to set the false suppression right, my drum is so f.... good. i love it. I REALLY LOVE my MegaDrum32!!!

my diy mesh pads are so sensitive... there is no falsetriggering anymore... my rolls are so clear... the speed is so fast!!
The whole triggering sounds so damn good. every minute, every cent spend for my megadrum was damn right. i would even pay more than the twice price to get such a f... good drum!!!

I cant say it enough: i love my megadrum32!

I guess you missed this part:

At the end you should get the best balance between false notes suppression and good fast rolls. Of course you will want to change the Curve to your liking after that.
