ibanman555, please load this firmware version:
megadrum_20121205.zip

After that, first do this:

1. Set AltIn to Yes. Use high impedance input. Make sure the pedal is fully depressed (open).
2. Set LevelsAuto to No.
3. Go to LowLevel or HiLevel. You will notice it will show a number in the top row - this is "raw level" read on the pedal input.

What value does "raw level" show?

And now start very slowly to press on the pedal.
1. At what pressure level (% from fully open) does "raw level" start to change and to what value?
2. What is the "raw level" at 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%, 10%, 0% (fully closed)?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

LowLevel and HiLevel are at their absolute Low and Hi levels...
The "raw level" shows 1023 in the fully open position. It is steady and not changing.

At 80% open, it jumps to a value 324-425... it is not steady and changing randomly. The pedal is not moving at all, or are the hi hats.

60% 312-387

40% is the same as above...

20% 304-378

10% same as above...

0% (fully closed) is 295-366.

The numbers keep changing each second, randomly i.e. -
305
304
300
295
305
300
295
366
305... you get the picture.

I also want to note that my LoLevel doesn't go lower than 11... it does not reach 1.

If you did it without a resistor, can you repeat it with a resistor?

With a 10k resistor between tip and ring...

100% - 10% 1023 (there is no change)

Fully closed 0% - it is bouncing back and forth between 399 and 408

Sorry, but can you do it again with a resistor on the low impedance input with AltIn set to No?

100% - 783-799 changing values each second...

80% - 609-620

60 % - 561 - 600

40% - 554 -588

10% - 551-583

0% - 236-240

This looks better. Still with a resistor and still on the low impedance input, can you repeat this test:

1. Set LevelsAuto to No
2. Set LowLevel to 450
3. Set HiLevel to 650
4. Set CC RdcLvl to 3
5. Set Big VU Meter to Yes

Exit the menu. With the pedal fully depressed (open) the pedal VU meter (top big VU meter) should be filled all the way to the right, isn't it?
Now start to press the pedal very slowly and watch the pedal VU meter until the pedal is fully pressed (closed).
1. Does the VU meter change?
2. At what pedal pressure position (3/4, 1/2, 1/4 of fully open) does the VU meter start to change?
3. Does it change in steps (2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ... steps) or gradually?
4. Does the VU meter go all the way to the left when the pedal is fully pressed (closed)?

Alright, this is looking a little better...

At 1/4 the way closed (about 80%) the VU meter starts to the left, Gradually.

The meter gets to about half way to the left just about when the pedal is fully closed.

Once fully closed, VU meter shoots from half way to off (to the left completely)

The VU meter is steady fully open and fully closed... still jittery in between

Can you repeat last test with LowLevel set to 500?
