Dear Dmitri,
While going through forums, I found that there are multiple versions of boards available:
1) Separate analog and digital board
2) One consolidated main board
3) Add-on card for positional sensing
4) PCB with through hole components
5) Board with SMD components with various versions

With so many versions I got confused and was not sure which version to use for my requirement. I want to make a midi-drum trigger (32 inputs) with positional sensing support. Here are my questions:
a) Is there a consolidated version of board available with positional sensing support? Or will I have to use add-on card?
b) Which version of board/PCB design/firmware should I follow? Can you point me to the latest design?

Thanks & regards,
Abhi

Schematics and PCBs in this topic are the only DIY designs tested and supported by me. I did not publish PCB designs with SMD components anywhere in the forum as SMD is not suitable for regular DIYer. PCB for Positional sensing addon with precision rectifiers you will have to design yourself using available schematic.

This question is not posted in the right place of the forum. Once you run it online, it will install itself locally and it can be started offline.

hey people,

i've noticed a 1k2 resistor in the digital board schematic. it's not listed in neither http://www.megadrum.info/content/buying-components nor viewtopic.php?f=3&t=275&hilit=4051...

i wonder if there are any other differences? or are there any version differences that i'm not aware? i'm going to order parts so i thought i'd better ask beforehand.

Those links were created as an advice/pointer where it is possible to find components. The schematic has the most up-to-date list of components.
