i'll create a new list according to the schematic then. an update to the list in the homepage would be good, since newbies like me likely use it to buy components... i'll post my list too anyways.

hi there, after getting my pcb boards made and ready to solder, i have come across a small issue, once i drilled the holes for everything i have noticed that trying to solder to some of the smaller parts (r26 on the digitial board) the track has so little copper left that the solder seems to refuse to be soldered. if i open the KiCad files will it be possible to enlarge the pad size, if not would using a 0.75mm drill bit be better.

many thanks

Yes, of course.

You can try but it all depends on your PCB making skills.

hi there, almost done with the circuits, looking good, the o.75mm worked a treat, tidy precise solder joints now. i have notice red lines that look like they are just jumpers on the components pictures, are these literally strips of wire joining sections of the board together, or are they for something different?

thanks

These are wire jumpers, you have to solder them.

Minus goes to the ground.
Plus goes to +5.

Trace the tracks to power pins on ICs or USB power pins. Or use non-polar caps.

Would the ic's be safe if I connect the USB cable and used a meter on the tracks without the caps in?
