Help additive drum configuration

Postby Trayp » Thu Jan 01, 2015 1:47 pm

Hi everyone !

Recently I finished the construction of megadrum32 all in one 2.5. I programmed the PIC and I was able to upload the firmware 20100516 ATmega32 .

device responds to the piezo

Now I have a problem with the configuration. I do not know how to configure the device with the additive drum . I could use some help someone ?

Regards, Trayp

If it is AD2 you can follow this guide.

When you want to connect the USB cable MDM gives me an error "error trying to open the MIDI in port : USB midi MegaDrum "

The computer detects megadrum in Device Manager

What could it be?

I doubt MDM supports such an old firmware anyway so you'll probably have to configure your MD at the module itself.
If it ain't broken... fix it until it is.

Hi!
Most often when you get these type of errors...the MD Midi port crashes when it is shared between a VST (like AD2) and MDM.

This is why MD has two midi ports. 1&2. They are equal. Suggestion: Set MD midi port 1 to MDM and MD Midi Port 2 to AD2.

However - I don't know who it looks in the old firmwares.
