I did some re-wiring with a switch to include the low impedance input.
No change in behaviour.

But, I tried some more options and found that in order to use the pedal with beta version New Algorithm must be activated!
So for the beta version Alt Sampling, Inputs Priority and New Algorithm must be activated.
Kind regards, Rob.

I continue setting up MD with the beta firmware (with New Algorithm active).

When selecting Auto Levels it turns red and Sysex Pedal Mismatch is shown.
Am I using Auto Levels here in a wrong way?

Hm, I re-tested it just now and it works the same with or without 'New Algorithm' and with/without 'Alt Input' on high/low impedance input.
Not sure what caused 'Auto Levels' go read/out of sync but you can correct by clicking 'Get' in HiHat Pedal settings.

Also, please post your full config (zipped .mds) - maybe something in your config which cause your issues with the pedal input.

Hello Dmitri,

Strange that we experience these differences.
I guess you know exactly the Megadrum hardware I have, but I will update my profile with it.

Attached you find the config file created with MDMFX by clicking top row button SaveAll.

Are you interested to hear 'problems' or 'strange behaviour' that I encounter while configuring MD in the coming weeks?
I see one now but don't want to bug you with details if I can work around them...

Let me first check your config and see if I can reproduce your pedal issue.

Ok, with the help of the config you provided I figured the cause of your pedal problem - I left some debug code which is activated if Latency is set to an even value.
Until I remove this debug code and provide a new firmware, please set Latency in Misc to an odd value.

Updated the beta firmware in the first post.
Fixed a bug (debug leftover) where pedal level is not read if Latency is set to an even value with the new alg activated.
